C247 | Google Pixel 6 Coming Soon to C247

Have you heard the news? Google has announced their latest smartphone, the Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 pro. We've got you covered with all you need to know.

Google has completely reimagined the Google Phone with the Pixel 6 branding it as its first-ever All Google Phone, built completely different.

The focal point of the new release has been the Brand New Google Tensor which is Google's AI machine learning processing unit. The new processor has been made specifically for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 pro and is the first processor designed by Google to be used in a Google phone. The predecessors to the Pixel 6 all used Qualcomm Snapdragon Processors which were larger, required more power  therefor sacrificed battery life. The new chip boasts an impressive 80% faster CPU to the Pixel 5 and a whopping 370% faster GPU.

The Pixel 6's camera houses a 50MP lens, capable of capturing 4k photos and video content.  A large proportion of all the impressive features the Pixel 6 brings to the table all lie within the camera. The machine learning in the new Tensor chip allows for a user experience that learns, evolves and adapts to you.

One of the impressive camera implementations into the new handset is the motion mode, which allows for adding and removing motion blur to elements of a photo. Removing blur is great for the shots that didn't quite come out perfect and adding blur to elements results in a photo resembling a long exposure image. The nuanced auto-white balance results in the capture of true skin complections without the common disbalance that's created with the saturation of many smartphone cameras.

Google's new Tensor Chip means that we can now have more advanced photo editing capabilities; many of which you would only expect to see in professional photo manipulation suites. The magic eraser means that unwanted elements in a photo can be removed with ease, and if you ask me, being able to scribble out a guy that had the audacity to obscure your photograph seems like a satisfying feature to me.

Machine learning has been taken to new heights with the Pixel 6 & 6 Pro thanks too Google's revamped live translate. Which can translate messages, pictures, and speech live in an instant to further excel the fluidity of their already well-developed translate engine. And if this wasn't enough, the feature requires no internet to function.

The last major talking point revolving around the new Pixel 6 is their new Screen Call. Which essentially took the bare bones of the classic automated call service, and gave it an interactive visual overlay whereby you can ask it to direct your call, hold the line or request automatic callback; without using the last ounce of patience you had left for the rest of the week.
